Kristen Lipschultz is a highly experienced testing expert who specializes in mechanical testing and materials characterization for medical devices.

Kristen currently manages Element’s Cardiovascular Medical Device testing department. She specializes in medical device mechanical testing and materials characterization.

Experience

Kristen obtained her Materials Science and Engineering degree from Iowa State University in Ames, IA and has worked in medical device testing for most of her career. She worked at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory of the US Department of Energy characterizing polycrystalline optical materials and joined the medical device testing industry in 2012 initially as a test engineer, then lab operations manager, and recently as department manager.

Project Experience

Kristen is technically versed in test design, protocol development, equipment calibration, fixture and mock vessel design, test execution, inspections, particulate characterization, materials characterization, and reporting.
