Element Materials Technology will never ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job

It has come to our attention that various individuals and organizations are contacting people offering false employment opportunities with Element Materials Technology. These individuals and organizations may request personal information or money in order to progress the application.

Element Materials Technology does not ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job. If you are asked for money transfers or payments to secure a job, attend training, purchase equipment or furniture, you should assume that such individuals and organizations are not providing genuine offers or services. Unfortunately, online scams are becoming increasingly prevalent and we would ask you to familiarise yourself with the following to identify potential risks.

  • Do not respond to unsolicited offers of employment from people you do not know. You will never receive an offer from Element if you have not had a conversation with one of our managers and recruitment team.
  • A legitimate offer will only ever come from an element.com or bmtrada.com or warringtonfire.com email address. You may also receive a communication from the iCIMS recruitment system used by the Element recruitment team, ending icims.eu or icims.com.
  • The offer document seems unprofessional, i.e. low quality or distorted logo, poor English grammar, etc.
  • The offer requests payment of any kind. Element will never ask you for payment as part of any application.

If you believe you have received a fraudulent job offer from Element, we would appreciate you contacting us aticims.helpdesk@element.com.
