The laboratory offers a single point solution for chemical analysis, mechanical testing, metallurgical failure investigation and on site testing. Tests and material analysis are performed for a variety of industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Chemical Processing.

The laboratory’s standard services include mechanical testing, metallography and chemical analysis of the most advanced aerospace alloys, titanium, steels, and non-ferrous metals.

Additionally, Teesside has a fully equipped machine shop for specimen preparation and furnaces for the heat treatment of test material prior to test.
